#9 How to Publish Publicly
Your own public page — publish notes to your personal profile at penpage.com/@yourname. Anyone can visit, read, and save your content.
What is the public workspace?
PenPage has a special workspace called Blackboard. Anything in Blackboard is public — visible to anyone who visits your profile.
Think of it as your public notebook. Private notes stay private. Blackboard notes are for the world.
How to publish
- Open a note and tap the share button
- Tap Post to Public at the bottom
- Done — your note is now live on your public profile
Or create notes directly in the Blackboard workspace — they sync to your public profile automatically.
Your public name
Your profile shows the name of your Blackboard's root folder. To change it:
- Go to the Blackboard workspace
- Rename the root folder — that becomes your public display name
- This name also appears on all your shared links and emails
When does it sync?
- Auto-sync: ~30 seconds after you finish editing
- Manual sync: Tap the sync icon in the workspace header to push immediately
- Status: Green dot = synced, spinning = syncing
Your public profile
Visit penpage.com/@yourname to see your public profile. It lists all your published notes. Share this URL anywhere — it's your PenPage home page.
Unpublish / delete
Delete a note from the Blackboard workspace — it's removed from your public profile on the next sync.
Private share vs. Public
