#10 How to Install the App?

Phone, PC, Mac — all supported. PenPage is a PWA (Progressive Web App), so you install it straight from the browser.

iOS (Safari)

📱 Look for the Share button at the bottom center

  1. Open penpage.com in Safari
  2. Tap the Share button (↑ at bottom center)
  3. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
  4. Tap "Add" to confirm
  5. Done — app icon appears on your home screen

iOS (Chrome)

📱 Look for the Share button at the top right

  1. Open penpage.com in Chrome
  2. Tap the Share button (↑ at top right)
  3. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
  4. Tap "Add" to confirm

Android (Chrome)

🤖 Look for the Menu button (⋮) at the top right

  1. Open penpage.com in Chrome
  2. Tap the menu icon (⋮) at the top right
  3. Tap "Add to Home screen" or "Install app"
  4. Tap "Add" or "Install" to confirm

Desktop (Chrome) — ⚡ Fast Install Button

💻 Fastest way: Look for the install button in the URL address bar

  1. Open penpage.com in Chrome (Chrome 76+)
  2. Click the install icon (↓) on the right side of the address bar
  3. Click "Install" in the popup
  4. Done — app is installed and appears in your apps menu

Why this is fastest: Chrome shows the install button automatically. One click and you're done.

Desktop (Chrome) — Menu Method (Alternative)

💻 If you don't see the install button, use the menu:

  1. Open penpage.com in Chrome
  2. Click the menu (⋮) at the top right
  3. Click "Cast, Save, and Share" → "Install PenPage..."
  4. Click "Install" to confirm

Desktop (Chrome) — Open Installed App

💻 Already installed? Open it directly from the browser

  1. Chrome 134+: Click the "Open in PenPage" button in the address bar
  2. Or: Click ⋮ menu → Cast, Save, and Share → Open in PenPage

Desktop (Edge)

💻 Look for the Menu button (···) at the top right

  1. Open penpage.com in Edge
  2. Click the menu (···) at the top right
  3. Select "Apps" > "Install this site as an app"
  4. Click "Install" to confirm

Desktop (Safari)

🍎 Look for the Share button in the toolbar

  1. Open penpage.com in Safari
  2. Click the Share button in the toolbar
  3. Select "Add to Dock"
  4. Click "Add" to confirm

Mac (Safari)

🍎 Same as Desktop Safari:

  1. Open penpage.com in Safari
  2. Click the Share button in the top toolbar
  3. Select "Add to Dock"
  4. Click "Add" to confirm
  5. App appears in your Dock — click anytime to open

Mac (Chrome)

💻 Same as Desktop Chrome:

  1. Open penpage.com in Chrome
  2. Look for the install icon (↓) on the right side of the address bar
  3. Click the install button
  4. Click "Install" to confirm
  5. Open PenPage anytime from your Chrome apps or Dock
